Professional Onboarding

How beauty professionals join FemmeSuite, complete merchant onboarding, and start accepting bookings and payments.

Summary: Merchant onboarding is initiated in-app within FemmeSuite. Professionals submit identity, business, and payout details through the FemmeSuite onboarding flow. Payment processing and merchant services are powered by Stripe. Some verification steps may be completed via a secure Stripe-hosted or embedded verification flow when required for compliance.

Onboarding Process

  1. Create a professional account in the FemmeSuite app.
  2. Complete business profile setup (service categories, address, policies, profile details).
  3. Complete merchant onboarding in-app (legal name, date of birth, business details, payout bank account, and required compliance information).
  4. Identity and compliance verification are processed securely through Stripe-powered infrastructure.
  5. Once approved, the professional can accept bookings, collect deposits, and receive payouts.

Minimum onboarding time after submission

Typically as little as a few minutes for basic submissions, with full activation depending on verification requirements. Some accounts may require additional review time for compliance checks.

  • Government-issued identity information (as required by payment compliance rules)
  • Business or sole proprietor details
  • Payout bank account information
  • Contact information and service location details

Tap to Pay on iPhone

FemmeSuite is integrating Tap to Pay on iPhone using Stripe as the payment service provider (PSP) so professionals can accept contactless payments in person directly from the FemmeSuite app, where supported.
